Some longform posts about cinema in general are coming up in the near future, but I’m still getting myself warmed up. Oh, and another feature of my blog will be periodic link dumps dealing with all things vegan.
Tonight, I’ll share an album that I wish I discovered twenty years ago: Christoph De Babalon’s If You’re Into It, I’m Out of It (1997). It got reissued this year, and its soundscapes fit very well with the general mood of 2018. So dark, so brutish – and yet it still sounds so fresh. Go buy it sometime.
Well, I’m back. I’m actually going to start taking blogging seriously now, but not without easing into it a bit. I’m going to keep the word count low for this post, and instead share a trailer for a documentary essay I’m very much interested in watching someday: IN THE INTENSE NOW, by João Moreira Salles.
Hello, and welcome to my new blog/homepage.
Eventually I’ll start using this blog to house my thoughts on both digital media and the current state of the entertainment industry. You might also find me commenting on current events once in a while, but I’ll try to focus on the aforementioned topics.
